  • Enclosed shoes (Sneakers are fine for abseiling)
  • Active wear or snug clothing for abseiling so it doesn't get caught in gear

  • No loose clothing that can be caught in abseiling equipment.
  • Wear something that you don’t mind if it gets a little damaged. It’s outdoor adventure and sometimes isn’t kind to clothes :)

We will require a waiver signed that covers the above before you start :)

+ Is there a weight limit?

Althought there is no weight limit on our gear, we do recomend that anyone who is morbidly obese not participate because;

  • The harness places preasure on your back that is potentially painful
  • It makes vertical rescue in the case of an emergency, more challenging and if we are executing a complex vertical rescue for any reason, we want to be able to get it done as quickly and easily as possible in order to get our clients the attention that they need as fast as we can.
  • Our kayak cockpits although pretty spacious, for XXXL people can start to get a little tight.

+ what if the weather is bad?

Sometimes we will need to postpone or cancel a tour due to storms or extreme heat. You will be contacted and provided the option of holding credit and booking at a later date or a full refund.

We do run most tours in varying levels of rain (but not storms) we don't run kayaking tours in high wind conditions.

+ what is a swag?

Our swags are massive and super comfortable. Our swags are canvas and you have enough room to sit up and talk or lie comfortably with two people inside. Our swags are fully sealed with fine mesh to allow for a breeze but no bugs.

+ I'm scared of bugs and snakes, should I be?

No. You're visiting Australia because it is wild and you want to explore and have adventures, our flora, fauna and insects are a part of that! If there are any concerns at all we can help ease your mind by explaining what to look out for and how to best avoid any bities.

+ Do you offer accommodation in rooms?

Yes we can upgrade your accomodation however this does tend to increase the price significantly so we certainly recomend embracing the camping experience.

+ what is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your booking for any reason:

  • Seven (7) days or more before the tour date = credit applied for a postponement.
  • One (1)to Six (6) days before the tour date = 20% cancelation fee and remaining credit applied for a postponement.
