Daily Noosa Abseiling Sessions

Challenge yourself with Grabrock’s daily abseiling sessions! You’ll experience amazing views of the Noosa hinterland and abseil 40-50m cliffs. All gear and training included and no experience necessary. This will be an adventure to remember!

ABSEILING QUESTIONS

+ What are the session times?

Start time is 10.30am amd finish is 12.30pm

+ Where do the sessions meet?

Sessions begin in the Mount Tinbeerwah car park at the end of 'Tinbeerwah road'.

Easily accessible for all vehicles & only a short 15 minute drive from popular Hastings street, Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast, Queenlsand.

+ How much do sessions cost?

**Scheduled sessions **

Our daily abseils are $120 per person with a minimum booking of two people

Discounts apply for group bookings of four or more people, send us a message for details :)

**Private sessions **

Private sessions and group bookings attract discounted rates. Price on application as we try to make every booking special so please let us know what you’re looking for and we will give you our best price. We can also work with our adventure partners to create events or team building just for you as well.

+ What to bring?

We supply all the abseiling equipment, but please bring the following.

Enclosed shoes (Sneakers are fine for abseiling)
Active wear or snug clothing
No midrif shirts
No loose clothing that can be caught in equipment.
Wear something that you don’t mind if it gets a little damaged. It’s outdoor adventure and sometimes isn’t kind to clothes :)
Long hair must be tied up
Water bottle
Don't hesitate to bring a picnic and a brew to enjoy after your abseil!

+ Who can attend?

Individuals must be at least Seven (7) years of age.

Please note that due to insurance reasons, we do not recommend this activity for individuals who suffer from severe asthma, epilepsy, a cardio/respiratory disorder, hypertension, skeletal or joint or ligament problems.

Also, you and those in your care must not be under the effect of drugs (whether prescription or otherwise) or alcohol.

We will require a waiver signed that covers the above before you start :)

+ Is there a weight limit?

Althought there is no weight limit on our gear, we do recomend that anyone who is morbidly obese not participate because;

The harness places preasure on your back that is potentially painful
It makes vertical rescue in the case of an emergency, more challenging and if we are executing a complex vertical rescue for any reason, we want to be able to get it done as quickly and easily as possible in order to get our clients the attention that they need as fast as we can.

+ what if the weather is bad?

Sometimes we will need to postpone or cancel the tour due to storms or extreme heat. You will be contacted and provided the option of holding credit and booking at a later date or a full refund.

We do run tours in varying levels of rain (but not storms)
