RAINBOW BEACH (BYMIEN)
2 DAY HIKE 4TH OF AUGUST 2018
The end of Day 1 - So nice to emerge from rainforest onto the beach!
It's been a few weeks since we undertook this hike and as it was the first time we had run this particular hike in a commercial sense we have subsequently taken some time to reflect and review so we can determine if and how we can make it better.

Realistically from all the feedback that we received, apart from a few tweaks here and there, it was pure magic and couldn't have gone much better. The weather was divine which was nothing short of a miracle considering the amount of rain that we had been receiving in the lead up and we were also gifted with the site of countless pods of whales making their way North to calf in the calm waters of Hervey Bay.
And what a crew! I couldn't imagine much more of a diverse bunch of people and we got on like a house on fire! I remember having a conversation with someone recently about how the bush tears away everyone's facade and lets you just enjoy being surrounded by nature in the company of others.

This is definitely our 'beginners hike' as it's a comparably short and easy trail that is jam packed full of creature comforts including hot showers! An absolute treat for any hiker! We've said it before and we will say it again, it's by far our favorite hike because it just keeps giving.
